🌍 PHRESH Project Kick-Off in Istanbul!

Makila AI, together with partners from Canada, Portugal, Romania, Spain, the Netherlands, Turkey, and the UK, had the pleasure of meeting in person for the first time on October 30–31 in Istanbul for the PHRESH (Patient Health Response in Emergent and Secure Habitats for Connected Healthcare) project kick-off.

As part of this international consortium, PHRESH is tackling the challenge of developing secure, inclusive, and high-fidelity digital health ecosystems while advancing health equity. The two-day meeting provided an excellent opportunity to share use cases, define next steps, exchange expertise, and strengthen collaboration across all consortium partners.

Many thanks to Joanna Morozowska and the ITEA Office for their outstanding coordination, to our Turkish partners and İstinye Üniversitesi Hospital for their warm welcome and support, and to the National Research Council Canada / Conseil national de recherches Canada for supporting us in this initiative.

Excited for the next steps and the journey ahead. We look forward to advancing this important work together and creating meaningful impact in patient care.
