Montreal, January 8, 2024  Makila AI (makila.ai) announces the appointment of Olivier Burger as Managing Director in France and a member of its Board of Directors. Olivier Burger has held operational positions as an engineer in industry in France, Canada and the United Kingdom. He then reoriented his career towards Human Resources as HR Director and member of executive committees in the energy and digital payment solutions sectors.

Olivier is a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure de Paris-Saclay and ISAE-Supméca. He has completed executive programs at INSEAD, France and Stanford University in the United States. He began his career at Renault in France, before working for two years in Montreal, Quebec, on behalf of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He then worked for 10 years in the railway industry at Alstom and then for 12 years in the energy industry at Areva-Orano. In 2016, he joined the Atos Group as Chief Human Resources Officer of the Big Data & Security division as well as Director of the WellBeing@Work Program and Experts Policy for the entire Group, which is composed of 120,000 people in 80 countries. From 2018 to January 2023, he held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer of the Worldline Group, a CAC 40-listed company and world leader in digital payments. Olivier is also Director at the Institut Sens & Croissance, and teaches at the HEC MBA in Paris on ethics topics.
