Established in Canada and France since 2018, Makila AI is a leader in the development of predictive analytics and simulations solutions based on artificial intelligence. Since its founding, Makila AI has developed a business ecosystem consisting of public sector organizations and large corporations in North America and Europe. Makila AI supports these organizations to propel their organizational performance through diversity, equity and inclusion, all in compliance with data governance.
With state-of-the-art technology in predictive data analysis and simulations, the Makila solution is at the service of the HR function to meet the challenge of retaining female talent through data. The detection of weak signals from data to predict women’s disengagement and attrition makes it possible to identify areas for improvement and develop appropriate actions for a more engaging and equitable organizational transformation.
To advance its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Makila AI continues to be involved in important collaborative research projects aimed at building a more diverse workforce for greater representation of women in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields.
In collaboration with IBM, Makila conducted a study this year on the progress of women in filing patents and protecting their innovations. The results of this analysis have led to concrete recommendations to encourage and value women’s scientific vocation and to continue to invest in important programs aimed at training a more diverse workforce for a greater representation of women in STEM fields.
“The study conducted in collaboration with Makila has allowed us to redouble our research efforts on gender issues and leverage innovation to explore innovative approaches to build a resilient and equitable future through the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.” Tamer Fares, Solutions Architect, IBM
« It is important for organizations to involve women in the key stages of innovation, from idea and design to realization. Advancing parity in patents helps strengthen the advancement of women in STEM. Layla Nasr, CEO, Makila AI,
Committed to EDI, the Makila AI solution leverages the power of AI to harness the full potential of data to drive momentum for more inclusive and equitable organizational transformation.
