We are beyond proud to have been part of the Canadian Technology Accelerators programme in the UK.

The Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) is a program of Global Affairs Canada’s Trade Commissioner Service. It offers high-intensity programming that helps selected high-growth, high-potential Canadian technology firms scale up by connecting them with export, investment and partnership opportunities in global innovation centres. Over the course of a four- to six-month program, CTA participants are provided with tailored support ranging from in-market working space and coaching to market validation and introductions to potential partners, clients and investors.

Over the last three months, our team has gained extensive experience through lively workshops, conferences, coaching and mentoring sessions, and in-person meetings with business leaders and professionals, triggering promising partnership opportunities. We learned so much from some of the brightest and most innovative minds in the tech industry and made authentic connections that enriched in every way our understanding of the UK market landscape.

Thank you to the High Commission of Canada in the United Kingdom | Haut–commissariat du Canada au Royaume–Uni for providing us with valuable insights and support, helping us assess the UK market potential, finding qualified contacts and partners, and furthering our connections in Europe.

A special thanks to Joy del Rosario, Claudio Ramirez (he/him/il), Sanjay Purohit and Omran Al-Habbal , Daniel E. from BEC (Birmingham Enterprise Community) for their leadership in ensuring the success of this programme!

A big shoutout to our mentor, Bobby ( Oshobugie ) Idogho, Founder and CEO at Radically Digital for his collaboration and support throughout.

Best of luck to all the participating Canadian tech businesses in their future endeavours:

Areto Labs Distributive NTG Clarity Intuitive Shipping Inc. Yocale iComply Investor Services SPICE Technology Group, Inc. V3 Stent Group Inc. HubbubHR Mapsted, Wysdom.AI

Here’s to witnessing Canadian tech companies scale on both sides of the Atlantic! One thing is for sure: there is a promising place for Makila AI in the United Kingdom, and we look forward to banding together our ecosystems in which we can all co-evolve and co-innovate.
