Montreal, january 08, 2024 — Makila AI (makila.ai) is pleased to announce the appointment of Olivier Burger as the Managing Director in France and a member of its board of directors. Olivier Burger has held operational engineering roles in France, Canada, and the United Kingdom. He later transitioned his career to Human Resources, serving as HR Director and a member of executive committees in the energy and digital payment solutions sectors.

Olivier is a graduate of the École Normale Supérieure de Paris-Saclay and ISAE-Supméca. He has completed executive programs at INSEAD in France and Stanford University in the United States. He started his career at Renault in France, then worked for two years in Montreal, Quebec, on behalf of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Following this, he spent 10 years in the railway industry at Alstom and another 12 years in the energy industry at Areva-Orano. In 2016, he joined the Atos Group as the HR Director for the “Big Data & Security” division and as the Director of the WellBeing@Work program and the Experts policy for the entire Group, consisting of 120,000 people in 80 countries. From 2018 to January 2023, he held the position of HR Director at Worldline, a CAC 40-listed company and a global leader in digital payments. Olivier is also the Director at the Sens & Growth Institute and teaches ethics at the HEC MBA in Paris.
